Mike Lelko, Bloomsburg University All-Time Leading Receiver

Mike Lelko,

Coach Lelko is regarded as one of the best receivers in NCAA Division II history.  While at Bloomsburg University, Mike was a Division II All-American and helped lead his team to the Division II National Championship game as well as 3 PSAC championships.  Coach Lelko served as a team captain during the 2000 campaign while setting numerous team and league records.  He finished his career as one of the top receivers in PSAC history.  He is 1st in receptions with 262, 5th in yards, 3,574 yards , and 5th in receiving td’s with 43.  He currently is the career record holder at Bloomsburg in catches, yards, and touchdowns. 

Before Mike attended Bloomsburg he held the New Jersey state receiving record with 1,353 yards and 87 receptions.  He was a 1st team all state selections, 1995 Warren County Athlete of the Year, and the Express Time’s Player of the Year.  Mike was inducted into the Phillipsburg/Easton Football Hall of Fame (2011).

Mike is a highly recognized receivers coach that is sought after nationally for his expertise in route running and ball skills.  Along with his work at various wide receiver camps, he has coached at Phillipsburg High School, North Hunterdon, and Hackettstown.  He coached the receivers at Phillipsburg HS when they won state titles in 05, 08, and 09.
